“Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall”― F. Scott Fitzgerald
Fall is my all time FAVORITE time of year! The smell, the look of the trees, Halloween, my birthday, Thanksgiving, and endless amounts of pumpkin spice lattes.
Since we are only days away from the first official day of fall and the air has officially taken a crisp scent and cooler tone, I thought it would be fun to give you inspiration for making the ultimate reading this for this autumn!
I’ve found multiple reading lists suggested for this time of year, as well as lots of advice for how to be the coziest version of yourself while you dig into this fall time must reads.
“Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale”
– Lauren DeStefano
Setting up the Cozy:
First things first I highly recommend redecorating your reading nook to bring you all of the fall vibes.
Bring out books with hints of orange and yellow to set the tone. Decorate with mini pumpkins and fake leaf garland, as well as weave some cozy fairy lights around to really set the mood.
Top it all off by lighting a fall scented candles! My go to is always Leaves by Bath & Body works.
Once you have your lights on, a candle lit, coffee brewing, and cozy blanket you are reading to dig into a good fall read!
"If a year was tucked inside of a clock, then Autumn would be the magic hour"
- Victoria Erickson
