"I love that in celebrating Halloween, we can get lost in the magic of make-believe and fantasy no matter what age we are!" -Natalya Neidhart
You can always go with one of the classics; witch, vampire, cat, pirate, skeleton, etc. Don't get me wrong, all of these are great and can be so fun to dress up as, but why do something that is expected for Halloween?
As book lovers we are given a vast amount of characters to choose from when it comes to dressing up for Halloween! In today's blog post I discuss some of my favorite ideas for costumes inspired from books!

My Personal Ideas:
These articles inspired me to look into a few of my favorite books/characters and see if there was suggestions for costumes and if there wasn't I'll give a few!
1. You can never go wrong with being a vampire and if you get a group together you can go as the Cullens or the Voluturi from Twilight, bringing back all the nostalgia as a Twihard.
2. You can tattoo yourself up, get an all black outfit and headout to fight some demons as a Shadowhunter. Bonus points if you have red hair or a wig to be Clary.
3. The odds will definitely be in your favor if you dress up as the girl on fire and her baker, from The Hunger Games.
4. You could divide yourself into a faction as go as a Tris Prior from Divergent! Make it extra fun by giving yourself her bird tattoo!
5. Okay. This one hits deep. If you are wanting to be more low key but still send off all the book lover vibes I recommend being Hazel Grace from John Green's The Fault in Our Stars! Simple, cute, and fun, but sends a message that you have definitely cried over the loss of Augustus waters.
6. This one I have always wanted to try! If you are looking for a couples costume you can dress up like you are coming straight from the roaring 20's and be Mr. Jay Gatsby and Daisy Buchanan.
7. Ending on a classic here as you can pull off this costume pretty easily by being a student from Hogwarts! You have the choice between the houses or being Harry himself by pairing your robe with glasses and a scar on your forehead!
"When witches go riding, and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers, ‘tis near Halloween."
I am so excited for Halloween and can't wait to finish gathering the last few things I need for my costume!
